Guttenberg, IA

Guttenberg, IA
Lakeside Ballroom

The hall.  Look at all that dance space!

Red Clarinet on the job.  This clarinet gets around.

The hall lost power for about 30 minutes because of the heat.  We played a bit anyway (and the dancers kept dancing), with some help with illumination from some handy flashlights.  The bass player (in the red vest) couldn't play without electricity, so he helped light up the pianists music.  The trombone and bari sax players helped with the bass line.  THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

Red Clarinet Rockin'

Rock band show this time.  With the infamous Red Clarinet.

In a Muscatine, IA bowling alley, if I remember correctly.

And, yes, it is an odd thing to take a clarinet to a bar.
